Playing against bots?

Hey

So I finished all tutorials, and now I started playing online

But when I started the game, (twice to make sure), I noticed there was only one other player on the other team, and everyone else on both teams were bots

Is this common in this game? I'm new

Exactly this! It would explain the super strange matchmaking to. it´s not normal having 5 games in a row lost where the enemy have all tanks still alive or one or two dead even thats not how real pvp works in random battles. something is else is going on with this game for sure

Not really, there just really are teams that are bad.
I have had 9 kills in a match a number of times in a KV1 and Matilda.
And been on a number of slaughter teams.

I long for the days when most of my battles were against bots. I could come out of a battle with 4 or 5 kills under my belt instead of some jerk whining in the chat how the team is all a bunch of losers. For a while I was thought I was becoming one of the best WOT players out there after killing 6 of 8 enemy, until I got introduced to human players and learned I was actually one of the worst. :) You can always spot a bot by the fact it has a name that sounds like an actual name generated from a phone book rather than a gamer handle. For instance "Josef Hillman" or "Frederick Antwon"? Bots. "NoobSlayer420" or "Go JETS!!"? Not bots.

I have been playing Wot for over 9 years and I can tell the player base is dying. Around 3 years ago is when I first started noticing bots in the game and yes these are WG bots in Random battles you will likely encounter these early in the morning at that time wherever your server is located. Now it seems WG are desperate to keep the game going so Bots are now in many Random battles maybe it has been happening for a very long time but has now became obvious to many. Now they are closing down Wot forums as the lies fraud and deceit are too much to deflect. I remember reporting, game rigging, and cheaters long ago and was told that is impossible to join in and rig games or for aimbot and spot hack to be in the game and laughed at now these issues are in the open. These are matters I noticed since 2016. So if the forum moderators lied to my face about these issues then Rigging the MM and Rng to favor certain players is also true and I can base this from my observations of the issues before. They have milked the player base dry and are now scraping the bottom of the barrel. Great game killed by greed.
