I've been playing a bit of this game lately, and I wanted to ask a few questions about how things work and share my thoughts on certain mechanics. Firstly, what happens if the player fails to return on time or doesn't have the goods requested? As a related question, does the player ever get locked out of choosing to continue, by age or failure? Most of the game seems to be spent waiting, just watching the little caravan icon move. There should be an option to make it go faster, specially since there's nothing you can do until the next event anyway. It's essentially just padding and immersion, and personally I value time over immersion....
