Mist duty Feed Cobra

So I got the mist duty Feed a Cobra. I tried feeding it eggs, Scorpion and that worm thing with lots of teeth and spikes and the quest will not complete. I have tried restarting the game, Completing quest that involve food, and nothing has worked. Anyone having issues with this Mist Quest?

Anyone Know how to fix it?

Hmm. I'm pretty sure it worked the last time I did it with a Scorpion. But that was a couple weeks ago, maybe?

Was the cobra already fed that day, maybe?

as asked did you already feed it that day because if so any next feeding won't count.

I didn't think of that Maybe I did feed it once that day.

That is kind of weird though and feedback for DLV on discord and the website are non existent so how are we to report a bug like this? I mean if it pops up multiple times a day we should be able to collect it multiple times a day otherwise why would it show up.

You can report bugs on their discord server. I've done it before. There is also an option to report bugs on their site too but it can be tricky to find. If you google 'DDV Help Ticket', it should pop up. Here is the link.

As for the snake, you can only feed critters once a day. So if you did it already, it won't count.

They should fix this because it is inconsistent with all the other mist quests. It doesn't matter how many times another quest pops up it will always give a reward. Yes I get that critters or creatures are able to become pets if you feed them consistently twice a day but in the end it is a quest to obtain Mist. Mist is a hassle to get as it is now with this one quest-line they want to limit the amount of times you can get the reward?

I have written tickets before too but every one I get the standard auto reply that looks exactly like the ones prior. Nothing from any actual person and that lack of Back and Fourth communication is exactly why I don't trust there ticketing system. With other game including popular game titles when they first release like Pal World, Craftopia, My Time at Sandrock when the height of the when the most tickets and reports were coming in they would get back to me in 24-48 hours and sooner on the discord servers usually in the same day but DLV has never shown that dedication.

At least when they open a feedback and suggestions section they get to see the bug and how many people are being effected by it. Then based on the numbers they can fix the bug but with the bug reports on discord you can see your own bug reports but you can't see anyone else's.

The top reason people don't report issues even long going issues is because they think that if it bothers them then someone else has probably reported the issue and that stifles the number of incoming reports and because the number of reports never increase, they never see it as an important fix to make.

The lack of Back and Fourth communication by the DLV team is why I don't trust their correction systems.
