3 days of playing with no rain and no fugu

I have played this for 3 days in a row about 4 hours a day and had no raining... I need to catch those supid puffer fish for battle pass and it says they only can be caught in the rain.. iS There something Im missing?

Took me 2 rainstorms to get them all because I was unlucky, better have a couple of fishing potions in your pocket ready.

There is a trick to get it to rain. Dig, plant water a crap load of crops, then once you are done watering a crap load of crops, it usually takes about 2 minutes or less and it starts raining...cause you just finished watering all those crops.

That doesn't happen to me. I've been planting pumpkins within the last week, rain doesn't appear. It's completely random for me.

update - immediately after finishing olafs quest and stopping the blizzard my sky get clear aand than it begins to raig - maybe there is a connection between blizzard and rainy weather
finally i have gotten my glittering herring:)

Thanks odelia!!!! Wasn’t raining for like 3 days of playing off an on and finishing the Olaf quest resolved this for me.

I have the idea that maybe it has to do with the weather in real live? I have noticed that when it rains where I live it rains in the game. some maybe they are connected? it's just a guess

It would never rain in the game if that were true. It's hot and dry here.
Someone said they upped the rain rate, don't know if that was for an event or just in general.

I'm suffering the same problem. different fish, but same problem. No rain in Vale of Trust.

So... I sat myself down on a bench, loaded myself a nice little bowl, and right as I'm lighting up, RAIN.

I feel like we should have more power over the weather once we get more weather options.

Why shouldn't we not be allowed to spend dreamlight to call rain?
