Couldn't Disney fork out the dough for the real voices?

They sound funky and weird. Where's Idina Menzel? Kristen Bell? And while I don't actually like or give a toss about the Rock or Tom Hanks, were they too high and mighty to spend a couple hours in a recording booth for roles they originated? But to be fair even the ones that were voiced by their original voice actors don't really sound like them. I had to double check that Tim Allen actually voiced Buzz Lightyear because he sounded so different. And as much as I love Stephanie Beatriz she sounded a little different too. Not bad, but not like Mirabel... or at least not the Mirabel we know from the movie. A lot of the characters sound off or weird. Feels like they put zero effort into putting together the voices because who cares about a game they're gonna pitch to a bunch of kids? Little Timmy and Susie wont know.

TL DR: Not happy with the voice work

would think that permission would include voice sound from disney movies. Lately been trying to spend more time with myself and less communicating and interacting with bots.

Their voices threw me off at first too but I guess I just got used to it. Doesn't really bother me now. I think some are pretty good. I was surprised how good Scar sounded even though it isn't Jeremy Irons. At this point, I'm more concerned about gameplay and glitches than I am about voices.

i am ok with the voices, Scar does sound good. But there is one line Scrooge says that sounds very weird he mentions he hopes he never springs a leak in his money bin, man it sounds so strange it as if a different person recorded this one line as it does not match up with his other voices

Oh Scrooge's voice bothered me the most I think. His accent sounds muffled.

I have no issues with the voice work. I would guess it can get expensive for the voice actor's time and I am not sure that digital approximations are ready for prime time. They are probably doing the best they can with what fits their budget.

I am actually more put off by some of the random comments from the NPCs. They are just brimming with several possible assumed intentions. So far, there is no character with a meme saying: "I used to have a valley like this but I took a dark shard to the knee"

They have improved some of animation work where it looked like the character eyes were rolling into the back of their head. That was super creepy.

Actually, the eye thing still happens in my game. I can't tell you how many times Scar's pupils completely disappeared. It's unsettling...
