Treasure Hunt part 2 quest not progressing?

I got to the part in the treasure hunt part 2 quest where I have to give Merlin the map. I encountered a bug in the middle of his dialogue that made it so I couldn't click on anything. I couldn't respond to his dialogue, couldn't leave the game, nothing. So I had to force close the game.

After loading it back up, I checked my inventory to see if I still had the map I had to give Merlin. I had the treasure map that Merlin gives you after speaking with him, so without checking my progress in the quest I clicked on it and unlocked the memory that gave me the map in my collection. But now my quest progress is stuck at "focus your magic on the map in your inventory". Which I can't do since I already did it before progressing to that part in my quest. Anybody encounter a similar bug to this or have any suggestions on how to fix this? I've already tried exiting and re-opening the game a few times.

I was given the memory "ball with a puzzle piece in it", and was told to speak with Scrooge McDuck. I went to him and he asked me what i found out, then the conversation just dropped and he walks away. I have spoken to him in his shop, outside the shop, in the Glades of Trust, restarted the game, restarted the computer and still nothing. There is no longer a quest bubble above his head. I know its a beta so I'm not freaking out, but i'm not going to lie, it is a bit of a bummer.

DOH!!! I figured out what to do and I finished the quest. I feel lame now. LOL

Mine is stuck this way too. I opened the map and got the memory, but the quest is stuck on "focus your magic on the map in your inventory," I tried talking to Scrooge and Merlin, but they have nothing for me to progress.

I contacted support a bit ago and they said they were aware of the issue. So hopefully this bug is patched in a coming update !

LOL here we are more than a year later. I have had this bug since around release. They refuse to fix or acknowledge it. Usually, they just gaslight me about it and tell me if I'm missing a memory, then I need to look for the colored ball on the ground. This company is full of idiots. They also shipped that stupid Cozy Edition with this bug built into the disc since they don't listen to anything and also can't read.

Still waiting for them to fix this. I've contacted them so many times but they will not acknowledge that it's a bug

I'm not sure if my comment will reach any of you, I'm stuck on Scrooge's treasure memory quest so here's the thing I found all the memories but couldn't find the last one in the forest then after realizing my game wasn't cloud saved, I clicked to sync it after days of figuring out to do it. Now I can't find any memories and don't know what to do but I believe everything else is working fine. Any tips and tricks would be much appreciated, thank you :)
