Sticks not spawning in Forest of Valor?

As it says, I'm struggling to gather hardwood for quests asking for 30 pieces. It is taking me HOURS to find only 3-4 pieces of hardwood. Forest of Valor, for me, seems to not be spawning ANY kind of sticks at all for some reason, so I am going back and forth between Glade of Trust and Frosted Heights hoping to find one or two pieces there every ten minutes or so.

Anyone else dealing with this?

Did you remove a bunch of trees from Forest of Valor, maybe to make gardening areas? If so, that's why the wood isn't spawning anymore. Put the trees back. If you didn't remove the trees, there's no easy answer as to why you don't seem to be getting wood. I got the upgraded shovel today and went around removing stumps, which netted me 4 stacks of sticks, so I have the opposite problem that you do.

It takes some time, but generally I get 3 or 4 each time I head there. Make sure you have a tag-along that enhances foraging.

Same problem here. Forest of Valor does not spawn anything for me: no garlic, no flowers, no wood... only the fruits on the bushes

Edit: Ignore garlic and flowers... they reappeared - after 3 days. Still no wood.

Cool! we get a better shovel. I was expecting an axe. At least now I know it will be working bridges at some point.

I had the same problem on that quest, especially since I actually needed more than the thirty at the time. I ended up moving the wells in both the Forest and Glade past the bridge to warp back and gather anything that respawned, then moving the wells back so I could fast travel through the entire biome. Still took me about five hours, since I didn't have the shovel upgrade when I was doing the quest. Hardwood spawns a lot more after that quest is finished, so that's...something, at least. Same with the gems when you need to mine. The opposite of what you need seems to have a higher spawn rate.

Oh just wait to get the quest for Minnie to build the clockwork, you'll need 100 hardwood...

I'm in the same boat, no wood in the forest, and the snowy biome doesn't have wood anymore too. There was a few at first, not anymore. It has nothing to do with removing/moving trees or anything, I didn't even know we could do that before they started disappearing.

No flowers in the forest either. Very few garlic, sometimes none at all.

However the swamp also has hard wood, so I get it there, and it re-appears frequently.

Some biomes are just bugged.

I have the same problem, posted it on discord but no response at the moment, i had the issue in the forest of valor first, 3 days ago, after that i couldnt find any flower and few garlics. I DID NOT TIME TRAVEL. all the events, rotation of shops, minerals, dark veins, fruits and crops are OK, Animals come new each day and new conversation with citizens, but no flowers in the forest.
I unlocked another two areas and yesterday i get the same problem with flowers and vanille, the same as in the forest. Hope a solution.

I've not been in the game for 2 days. Updated and logged in today and havent found any hardwood in forest of glade of trust. Have gone round both places 3 times now and not a single spawn of hardwood!

I had this issue with mushrooms in the glade, I was only getting 2-4 spawn per day (even when taking a max friendship boost character)

I have noticed that trees seem to encourage stick spawns, if that helps let me know :)

If anything I've ADDED more trees. Havent removed any, just moved some around. NOTHING is spawning in the forest for me. No flowers, no garlic, sticks, nothing. And, for some weird reason, as of today, the game is no longer letting me use my left or right mouse buttons for interactions, nor is the "esc" key opening the menu for me anymore.

did you try validating your files?

Do you have the forest on the other side of the bridge unlocked already? Or is the bridge still blocked by stumps?

If it's still blocked: all your spawns are on the other side. Move the well and fast travel there to get them!

I have this issue, except with mushrooms, literally none will spawn. I am so frustrated.

oh my god this was it. Anna and Elsa are the only two not on my island yet so i still have stumps everywhere. ugh thanks for the help.
