Axe upgrade.

I am on the last upgrade, I think. But, like some other people, I can't get Elsa to talk to me about the ice I removed from her first room. Has anyone discovered a work around? Or an answer? I am pretty much stuck on this quest.

There's a lot of us stuck with her not wanting to progress. Some think it might have something to do with progressing past her point... but I don't think that is the case.

All we can do is hope there is a patch coming in soon, otherwise many people might just start another game and see if that fixes it.

I'm in a similar situation and have been stuck on it since before patch and it's been a struggle. I have been following the Bug and Fixes Compilation Megathread which has information about a possible fix but this hasn't worked for me at all. Basically having the quest as your target quest and no one following you. This hasn't worked at all for me but could work for others perhaps. I have also reported it a second time after getting a generic message going "Hey we rolled out the patch, update your game on all systems, etc. and see if that fixes it." so hopefully it'll be fixed before Scar's release or with him.

I've tried the same thing, hasn't worked for me either. I would love the ability to reset a quest if your stuck.

The Megathread only lists the Elsa issue where players can not get Elsa to come out of her cave to get the pickaxe upgrade in the first place. There is a work around for that. The vast majority of us have the upgrade, and have cleared the ice both outside and inside of her cave, but she will not recognize that the ice is gone and progress the quest.
