Switching from Gamepass to Steam?
I have been playing on PC on Gamepass. I just thought this was gonna be one of those games I just play for a day and on to the next. I have realized this is going to be a months long game lol. I realized it will be cheaper to buy it. I was wondering will my Gamepass stuff transfer to my Steam playthrough since there's that cloud save thing? Or is it Gamepass is its own thing and I will have to start over on Steam?

It is a universal cloud save. I did the same thing. your cloud save WILL transfer. NOW if you plan on going back to play on xbox, you will not be able if there has been an update. Steam updates first (as it did today) and xbox has not updated yet. But yes it does save cross-plat. Make sure you have made an account for the cloud of course.

im wondering the same thing, really enjoying it so would not mind buying it on steam as i prefer it, but it be a shame to lose all progress, i gues i could wait till it becomes free before trying it, if it doesnt work il stick to gamepass for this one i gues

I'm in the same boat. I'm hoping the cloud save on the menu will help. You make an account and it's supposed to work on other platforms.

Anyone have any tips to get the cloud save working on this game for steam deck? It will just not connect online when I try to get it to connect.
