Extra Golden Potato

Hello, I have just finished all the potato quests and gotten the rainbow fox last night, but I just got on, went to Scrooge's shop, I heard a sparkling sound around his vault, so I interacted with it and it gave me a golden potato. I've already used the other one for the quests, so I have no idea what to do with this extra golden potato. I've asked google and I can't get an answer. Help!

Talked about this before with a group of people cuz I have one to. Only thing we could come up with at the time was to display it but I discovered we can’t even do that. It’s pretty useless at this point from what I can tell. Anyone else?

Yeah, it sucks. Just lives in a box with the other extra quest items they had poor validation checking for.
Secret room in the castle has a few storage slots if you want it out of sight, like a hidden spam folder for your email.
