Cannot complete Rapunzel Quest in Eternity Isles (Among other things)

Sorry, but for some reason I cannot complete Rapunzel's quest in Eternity Isle's. I gathered all 10 of the gears for the Sundial, and when I go to talk to her, nothing happens. The Sundial doesn't turn or anything.

Also for Eternity Isle's, some of the items there, while they have an animation, will not allow it to show up in my inventory (The items that look like puzzle pieces).

It just sucks cause I thought this would turn out better than The Sims 4, but this game is also broken too. It's a fun game, but, if I can't get past a quest, it means I'm stuck till the next update. Please patch this up!
