Nice that there's a backup if the quest chain doesn't work. Waiting on the 3rd Scrooge quest and Sunday for a white squirrel.

Given how the event ends on the 5th of June, which is 6/7 days from now, and the critters we obviously need to take a photo of with Mirabel takes days, especially if one can't be on time for the encounter, no one would be able to finish this challenge unless the team had brought the Parks Fest event earlier than this.

It's ending June 17th, not the 4th.

Oh... think over I saw last year's June that I mistook it for this year's June.
I wonder when they discover that the daily/weekly event quests are completely broken and won't show up for a lot of people too.

Not unlike last year. -_-

In fact I'm racing against time to get Cheshire to level 7 and get all mats for you know what...

Update:

Just noticed you don't get notified about the daily/weekly quests through the UI (like in previous events this year) but you'll actually need to check each character. Apparently.

Yup. It's a mess this time around.
Yeah I calculated that it would be a close call time wise because each of her quests has a critter that only shows up 1 day per week and you have to wait 2 days between her quests.

If you got the timing one day off or can't log in at the key time for the rare ones then it would have been very hard to do. They should have left it to say any 3 of the 5 and you could move it along quickly in a week

Like Scrooge's chain of dig-related quests which focus more on type than what to mine.
Nah, types are easy. You are guaranteed a drop in each biome on a long cooldown. It's when they want a specific one, or a shiny version that the grind begins.

If you got a miracle potion, the drops are far easier too over each hit offers a point.
Has anyone gotten the Mine Cart Bucket? I have done everything for Scrooge, but nothing...

According to the DDV Wiki, Dreamlight Parks Fest: Dig It[dreamlightvalleywiki.com], there are 4-gated quests by Scrooge. I completed a third one today and he stated on completion of it he would have another quest for me but didn't mention when nor does the Wiki. According to the above Wiki link, when we complete the 4th, it unlocks Mine Cart Popcorn Bucket.
There's a cooldown between the quests. Waiting for Mirabel 2 and Scrooge 4.

That's partly true, everything could have easily be done if they left out

taking a pic of the Black turtle

in Mirabel 3

Because Mirabel 2 apparently is

Feed three rabbits their favorite food

Which should pop for most people around Tuesday and can be completed

Wednesday

Then the apparent last one pops Friday

Photograph all turtles

And that one they didn't really think through

Because you need to take a pic of the black one on Monday between 10 and 4

Basically you can complete Mirabel's entire quest line if you can get into DLV next Monday at daytime after the quest pops, if not you need to rush the recipe.

Note that the end of Scrooge's quest line also will take a ♥♥♥♥ ton of time.

This one will probably pop tomorrow for most people and

He wants you to get three shinies

Which could also lead into several hours grinding

Eh, shinies aren't that rare if you mine spots that have gems showing. And if you have either of the DLC, that's a bunch more possibles for those.

Of course, a new player who doesn't have the DLC or all the base game zones unlocked will have a rough time.
