Purple eggs not spawning

I read online that 10 purple eggs will be found in the moana, toy story, beauty and the beast, the lion king, and mulans realm but I have found only about 3 total. They aren't spawning in even if I sit inside of the realm for extended periods of time.

if you have any sand piles in lion king realm try picking those up. I was having same problem and doing that resolved my problem.

Yeah, 3 purple eggs a day. Some of the realms are pretty large, running through every one is not really what I would call fun. They need to re-think this one.

They're not in every realm. They are in the Lion King, Mulan, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast and Mulan realms.

Well, during Inside Out 2 event, you needed look on ALL the available realms for items. And some of them were bugged, and of course, never fixed.

That helps it's not every realm, I thought I had read they were going to spawn in every realm that you had unlocked. Now I have no idea where I read that. I'll keep looking, but I've gone into every realm and been finding 3 eggs total. I'll check again, maybe I'm missing something. Thanks.

Oh, I found it. The mail in our house mailbox says, "search everywhere in the valley AND the realms you've unlocked." That must be where I got they could be anywhere. I didn't think they would be in the small realms like Remy's or Wall-e's places. Makes more sense now.

I started finding them more frequently after visiting the realms a couple of times. They weren't spawning in at first but I found most of my eggs in mulan's realm

I read that they spawn in 5 realms (Moana, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and Mulan) and they'll respawn every 5 mins after being collected.

I have not re-entered a realm after collecting them once, but I have managed to find 24 eggs so far and make 2 of the items. I also get the Glimmer (DLC) while I'm in each realm so that I feel like I'm doing more in there while running around. lol

I found few in beaty and the beast the lion king and mulan and moana but toy story I seen nothing but mostly 1 egg if lucky maybe 2 but I do not mind lion king or moana is not to big but beaty and the beast even in the garden I found 1 once and that is not a funny realm to run trough I get lost there and mulan twice on the hill at the end of practice place but stil toystory I have not seen a single egg

I can find around 10 of them in a run. 2 or 3 in Lion king, 2 or 3 in Moana, 3 to 6 in Beauty and Beast, 1 or 2 in Toy Story, and 3 to 5 in Mulan, 3 fixed in the camp (2 of them in training grounds)

I have not found any in toy story yet and I checked so far every day so not sure where to find them but I checked up on the bed and in the closets behind everything I could get behind checked that zoo farm we had to make but no eggs there for me also I do not find allot of yellow eggs only got 8

I found 9 in my first run or two, and it's slowly gone down to 7. I'm assuming there's a few that have spawned in dumb places, so I just keep missing them.

Interesting. I've found 1 at most in Moana, usually 0. 0-1 in Toy Story. Max 2 in Lion King, max 3 in B&B. And usually only 1 in the Mulan camp area (2 & 3 once each)

I'm a bit mystified about purple egg spawning too. I have this game on another platform with the eternity isle and storybook vale dlc. I don't get nearly as many purple eggs as my friend who just has the base game on gamepass. We do the same routes. I hardly ever get an egg from the Moana realm - they get one or two each time. Same for Toy Story. They'll do all of them and come out with 10 purple eggs. I might get 5 or 6 if I'm lucky. This has happened day over day since the event started.

What am I missing? Does the DLC change where things appear or how many you get?

These purple eggs in the realms where a terrible idea! I was finding 10 in the beginning, now I am only finding 8. I assume 2 have spawned in an area that is inaccessible! My sister despite continually searching was finding hardly any, so I gave her the few extra I had stored, looks like I will only be able to make 2 planters and the chair!

I hate the purple egg hunt. Yet one more time running around with no eggs found. Are there spots the eggs gets stuck in that you can't access??
