Snowman Building

Hi!
I have a bit of problem with building the snowman. I found the recipe and then the big snowball in the frosted heights, also collected all the necessary items, but when I interact with the snowball it doesn't let me put in any items, all of them greyed out. I found a reddit post that suggested to restart the game which I did twice and still not works.
Someone know any solutions? Or I need to do something else before being able to build it?

If yo try to put too many it wont let you.Try split them. Thats what i had to do.

I tried that now, but unfortunately still not works. If I remember correctly I need 4 woods, I tried to put it in one batch, separate them to 4 separate piece and then two two piece batches. None of them worked. Same with all the other items :(

It's 4 hardwood, if that makes a difference.

Start with the 50 snowballs. You may have to split a stack in your inventory if you have more than 50.

That, too. The three steps (A, B, C) are each done in order.
A: 50 Snow
B: 4 hardwood, 23 fabric, 18 dandelion
C: 10 green passion lilies, 15 fabric, 1 carrot.

Thank you so much for your help! I missed that I need the snow, I thought that part meant the Large snowball in the frosted heights. I was able to build it now ^^
