do the festive fish only spawn one time each?

I got 4 of 5 yesterday (still have to do night one) but today there were no more festive spawn locations for the ones I caught before. So has anyone seen them spawn a 2nd time ?

Not me, no. But I managed to get a second festive fugu thanks to one of my fishermen who caught me an extra.

No, looks like you can catch them only one time just for the task to complete.

I believe you can only catch 1 of each, you are also unable to sell them so not sure if something will come up about it later??

I still have to get the angler tonight after 6pm in the meantime I set them out on my festive table so I don't accidently cook em. Would be so awesome if you could set up a fish tank to view them swimming around tho!

Seems like the Devs were too hasty with those fish and forgot to tag/program them as "not to be used in cooking" I lost one of those fish because of that, and reading elsewhere, a lot of other people had the same problem.

I've only gotten one of each. I haven't seen anymore. And apparently you can't use them for anything. Can't sell them, either. At least not right now. If I see more, I'll get them. But if we can't do anything with them, I'll just go stash them in one of the chests in the secret room of the castle.......lol

Other than for collecting, was it ever mentioned if these fish are used for something else?

I have never seen the red and green circles again since the first day -- I caught all 5 in quick succession. Nothing since.

It's OK, especially since there's nothing to do with them really until they give us an aquarium.

I've only had them spawn once, but never had one on Dazzle Beach.

And no sooner did I post that, but the Dazzle Beach pool popped up. Still no duplicate pools though.

i fished in the forgotten woods for a festive angler fish
fished in both pools using 4 even more miracle fish potions
and still nada, only white rings and some blue and a occasional orange
no red green at all, this sucks

I undertsand teh 5 days on teh stitch quets that you ened to wait but comon its only fishing

When you get the 5 Festive Fish, all you get is a Santa Hat for it. You can't sell them or use them for cooking. So take your time. They'll show up when you least expect it. And not necessarily in the regular fishing spots.

well there are only 2 small fishing spots in teh forgotten forest so not many regualr other spots teh angler fish can spawn :P

but spending 4 potions and no spwn sucks ther not cheap to amke lol

The Festive Anglerfish is a night fish, so I suggest fishing late at night if that's not what you were already doing.
Also, the festive bubble spots are independent from regular bubble spots, so they'll typically spawn where there is none.

I got the angler fish in the wee hours and in the rain. So wait until it's dark. If you can, try it in the rain after dark.
