Built to Destroy - homing beacon bug

Hi,
while positioning the homing beacon the item got stuck under the skeleton head. Any way to recover it or is it a bug?

My wife did the same thing (misread and put the beacon literally on top of the lion king elephant skull instead of on skull rock where it belongs) and is now freaking out because the beacon disappeared and she can't progress. Did anyone ever find a solution to this?

Skull Rock is that little island in front of Skull island off of Dazzle Beach. Don't know why you would try to put it near Scar's den. That homing beacon is where Stitch's spaceship will land. I don't know how you would get something back that was placed wrong. I guess ask the devs.

I did this quest earlier today, and the Devs really need to redo the wording of it. I too tried at first to place it on Skull Rock because they tell you to place it ON Skull Rock, rather then just say Place it on the sand NEAR Skull Rock. I just got lucky and used my logic to place it on the sand.

I sent a message to Gameloft about this, and this is what they said:

We are aware that a few quests have had their progression halted because of the items being stuck or not appearing/resolving quest objectives. We will be releasing a fix for these soon.

My daughter did the same thing with the elephant skull and could not find it for the longest time. Month later (she abandoned the game pretty much because of it) we've just found it in the lower right corner of the sunlit plateau biome. I hope this helps other people if they ever get it misplaced. ✌️
