Gamepad or Keyboard/Mouse ?
Good evening,

I'm not sure whether to buy this game on PC or Console. In your experience, do you prefer to play with the joystick or the keyboard/mouse combination? If the pad gameplay is better, I'd rather play it on console, on my sofa :)

Thanks for your advice :)

Even despite the terrible UI design (seriously... hire someone with some competence) I'd say mouse and keyboard are still better.
They were also too lazy to add any keybinding at all, so you have to take care of that yourself on the Windows level.

Sorry for being a bit snarky. I'm just allergic to bad UI design. Especially when it comes to big publishers.
Keybinding should always be ingame... there's no excuse for that.

Main advantages on PC would be the item limit, rock solid FPS, upscaling, draw distance... stuff like that.

On the topic of "taking care of that ourselves". DDV is a bit too carpal-tunnel-adjacent in the base game. And then for the Isle, it's all the way to ouch territory. You have to spam buttons and fast. I started having a better time in the game when I set up the middle-click to spam the E key x20. In my case I did this with logitech "G Hub" software, but someone with a different mouse would want to use a different tool.

Should you use a controller instead? I don't know... how good are you at programming what a controller button does to save your poor hands? I figure that would be easier to do on a keyboard. So I'd use a keyboard.

I'm generally finished with this game, playing Tomb Raider: Underworld. It binds throw-grenade to... the caps lock key. This is not the only action bound to the caps lock key. Doesn't seem to be configurable either. I am out of grenades, and teeth. I make bad gaming choices.

Keybinding is so important to some people.
I'm missing a few fingers and I am left handed so it's literally impossible for me to use a keyboard the intended way.

I thought Disney was all about inclusion? Seems to only be of importance to them if they can score political points, not when it comes to actual inclusion by implementing accessibility.

Anyway, for keyboard I use PowerToys (free Microsoft tool). Let's you reconfigure your entire keyboard in Windows... a Godsend for people like us.
I play with controller mostly, and i've used mouse only few times to sort my ingridients

You can change the button spam to hold in the settings if you'd prefer.

Never tried with controller, but it seems perfectly fine with keyboard. There isn't really any twitchy/platformer/timing type stuff in the game, so M+K isn't a drawback.
