Daisy is "home" but she is nowhere to be found

According to the map, Daisy is "home" but she's actually across town from her actual house, and when I walk up to where she supposedly is on the map, she's not there. Essentially, she doesn't exist now. How in the world do I fix this? I have tried walking in/out of her house multiple times, but she never appears. This is game breaking because when I get a quest with her again, I will no longer be able to play.

She should always be findable in the boutique.

edit: I also think that sometimes villagers will be marked as "home", because it's the time of their schedule when they should be there; but they're currently a customer at one of the restaurants or Scrooge's shop.

Thank you this helped a lot. I found her in the boutique. I forgot she's there because I hardly use it lol.
