Halloween Event?

I couldn't help but notice that a crafting recipe requiring special Candies popped up in the crafting catalogue. Does this mean the Halloween event has already started? If so, then how do we get the Candies? If not, when will it officially begin? Halloween's already less than 2 weeks away.

I think Oct 24th - Nov 1, that's what it was last year. I think those were the dates they announced for this year too. We should notice candies spawning in valley when it's time.

Halloween event began today (October 23) but so far I don't see anything unique.

We got a free purple T shirt in the mailbox. Make sure to pick that one up if you haven't.

Otherwise it sounds like every prior year -- making candy.

My candy buckets spawned once and I haven't seen anymore since. Are we only getting a certain amount every day? I read others are having the same problem.

I didn't see any candy pails so far but to be frank I have plenty, from the two prior Halloweens.

Hopefully they will at least enable some new craftables.

There's a recipe book in the event mail they sent out. Only the one craft as far as I saw.

When I went back after the last comment, candy pails were everywhere 😂

I went ahead and opened the pails. At least they are easier to find than blue marshmallows.

Definitely in a mail because you hit claim to get the recipe book. Mine didn't pop a new window when I read it though, maybe the craft was already available at the workbench.
