Question about the new character Sally

I heard that you have only limited time to unlock new characters. Is this true? I saw in a youtube video that you have 83 day left? What happens when the timer runs out? Will I miss Sally forever? Im asking because Im new to the game

No. There's no time limit. You unlock characters as you progress through quests. Characters are permanent.

Alright. Even the one which comes with an update like Sally? What is the 83 days timer then? :-)

There is currently a 61 one day timer for the Star Path, but that has nothing to do with Sally. There's never been a limited time to unlock characters. Only Star Path are available for a limited time. I've never seen a 83 days timer and there's not one in game right now so I don't know what that is about.
