Maleficent glitch?

Ok, so I'm in the final mainstory quest in the Hades and Maleficent meeting, but when the cutscene is over, she vanishes and keeps glitching behind the Lorekeeper's fountain, on and off, and Hades takes off because it's like she isn't there, and the story doesn't progress.

Is anyone else having this issue, please? Man, this was supposed to be an update with bug fixes, especially related to mainstory quests. Really disappointed on this one. :-(

I cannot finish the Storybook Vale main quest because the NPCs will not go where they need to go.

I have the same bug. I can't complete the Hades and Malificient quest because she disappeared and Hades is not interested in the quest any more. I'm stuck. :(

An update just happened to the game and this bugged quest could finally continue :)

This happened to me also. After the animated clip, Hades left. I followed him, and even clicked 'hang out' with him; but it didn't change anything. I could see Maleficent flickering behind the Lorekeeper.

I tried going into her castle, after putting Hades on Hang Out, but he did not follow me in, and she was not there anyway. She's vanished.

I tried quitting and restarting the game twice but it didn't change anything. Hopefully they send a patch soon?

This just happened in my game today, by the way. If there was an update, I'm not sure what to say.

I just got a game update that fixed the "Hades and Maleficent" bug for me (on PC). I had to use the map to locate Hades and Maleficent, and when I got there, the conversation between the two of them took place and the quest worked.

They had their meeting. The quest is completed. Thank you for that update. It didn't tell me or show me an update.

I also notice in crafts you can use the points to make the various colors and types of snippets now? Is that new? Before that, it seemed, it took one white bird each.

Had the same update and finished the quest today also. A 30MB file or so. Happy they looked into it!

About the snippets, I haven’t seen any changes but also haven’t checked the crafting recipes again, so it might be a new addition? Will check it out tomorrow!

Hey! Just reporting back on this snippet thing. It's actually the opposite. You can use extra snippets to make Storybook Magic. The recipe to craft snippets still are the white birds, but if you have too many snippets you don't use anymore, you can turn them into Vale points. :-)
