The game looks like playing in low fps

Are all users affected by this? Just to know if I should keep looking for solutions rather than just waiting with the feeling im playing with a microwave lol.

My game has had horrible lagging since the last few updates and has only got worse with the new DLC yesterday when it will just freeze every few seconds and then catch up, I tried lowering my settings and it didn't improve and also updated all my drivers.

Only place I saw slowdowns yesterday was when I returned to the Valley, the Plaza had some hitches (might be connected to the white bird snippets? Haven't tried going back there again, so I don't know if it's consistent.)

I can experience lag anywhere I travel where it will glitch for a couple of minutes as things load but nothing as bad as Storybook which is just continuous.

I've experienced lag in both my valley and Rift in time expansion since the last two updates. Changing my graphics settings hardly makes a difference. There is no noticeable difference when I change the render distance either.

I am not experiencing any lag or low fps, but I did not buy the new DLC!
Is it possible that the DLC is responsible, or at least made it worse for people?

I certainly think the new DLC has made it worse when it comes to lag and freezing within the game, Its been unplayable for me since I got it with hardly any breaks where it actually worked normally and I could do stuff so for what its worth if you do want to get it hold off downloading for as long as you can and wait till a fix happens because its horrible trying to play.

Ich habe mir nach 1 Jahr Pause Anfang Nov. 24 RIFT gekauft und hatte permanente FPS-Einbrüche von 140 auf 12. Sowohl im Hauptspiel, also auch auf der DLC-Map. Wobei die DLC-Map eine einzige Katastrophe war/ist. Seit dem neuen DLC, was ich nicht gekauft habe, gehen die FPS bis auf 2 (!!!) runter. Und es sind ständige Ruckler drin. Was bedeutet, das man plötzlich nicht mehr gerade aus läuft, sondern eine Kehrtwendung macht. Der Charakter führt sein Eigenleben. Unspielbar! Porten von RIFT zur Hauptinsel ist ein Geduldsspiel, das man oft verliert, weil das Spiel abstürzt. Wenn man sich auf der DLC-Map ausgeloggt hat, hat man beim nächsten Start verloren.
Wie soll man so spielen? Ich bin mit der 1. Erweiterung gerade angefangen und muss Nebel farmen. Unmöglich. Das Spiel stresst nur noch und gesund ist es auch nicht mehr, sich dieses Geruckel und die ständigen Slowmotion-Aktionen anzusehen. Geld für die Tonne rausgeschmissen. Sehr ärgerlich.
Schreibt man den Support an heißt es nur, dass das Problem weitergeleitet wurde. Wohlgemerkt ist das kein aktuelles Problem und wir sind kein Einzelfall.
Ich warte jetzt noch bis Anfang Dez. wo das nächste Update kommt, ob da Fixes kommen. Ansonsten wird das Spiel gelöscht. Gibt genug auf dem Markt.

Update: My game seems to have suddenly fixed itself and has stopped doing all the weird lagging and freezing, very strange turn of events so now waiting to see if it breaks again.
