Star Sapphire & Flower Book possibly a BUG?

I have been breaking the rocks for over 2 hours now and still can't find the Sapphire in the Biome the game says it is at!
Also, need to get book flowers, mine have spawned at the edges of the map and every time I go to pick up my character gets stuck!
This is driving me nuts as can't progress story.
Anyone else having any of these two issues by any chance and know where to find the sapphire at least?

Biome? It's in the Vitalys Mines. Unless you consider the Mines a Biome.

Star Sapphire is a new gem in the DLC.


re: book flowers - if you have Rift in Time, you could try putting out an Ancient Vacuum

Ah, I see. The flowers stuck under the bridge, in the rocks. Just got stuck there myself. Hmm, wonder if I can even move the vacuum under there.

(annoyingly, the two halves of The Bind on either side of the bridge, count as separate areas for the vacuums.)

edit: nope. The vacuum can't be placed under the bridge, and if it's placed on top of the bridge it doesn't detect the flowers beneath it.

Ah my bad. I thought maybe OP was referring to Shiny Sapphire.
