Small storage box

So I crafted a few small storage boxes but I can only use the top two rows of the chest. Is there a way to utilise the middle and bottom two rows, I mean there not there for nothing I guess? Or do I need to craft medium or large boxes to get more than 16 space?

Hello, small storage are little, just the top 2 rows. You need to craft the middle and large for more. I think it is the large for more than 16.

Yep - small = 2 rows; medium = 4 rows; large = 6 rows.

believe me we all would prefer to be able to upgrade the old chests, but yes you do need to craft the large ones.

That's ok except you need loads of iron ore to make the iron bars. Haha, it should be possible to send out the people in the valley to get them for you. As a little thank you for living in the valley.

you can buy the iron bar with the shop - Anna's boyfriend .

I sell my extra iron ore to Goofy, because three stacks of ore and a stack of bars is enough.

Once you have a bunch of villagers at high friendship, you sometimes get mail from one of them with a few ingredients and a comment on what they could be used to make (i.e, the game picks some craftable item, and sends you some of the materials for it along with a note. But you can just take them and do whatever you want.)

You can also go buy a cheap closet from Scrooge and then buy lots of copies. Each will be the equivalent of a small chest.
