Unable to unlock Tiana

During the quest A taste for literature, when a memory appear in the cher remi, when i pick it up it freezes the entire game. i am unable to continue. How can we fix this?

The same thing happend to me. I just kinda kept trying picking it up till it eventually worked. Most times the game froze, but one time only my character got stuck, but the game itself was fine. I pressed the escape button and then the memory was picked up. idk if this is any help to you. ^^' Good luck!
