Touch of magic, but I have none!!

I am trying to submit my dreamsnaps for this week, but when I go to submit, it says your picture cannot be submitted because it contains touch of magic items. This is simply not true, as I haven't used any touch of magic items ever, I don't have any on my character and I have barely experimented with it, let alone have any furniture out with it. This makes no sense, any ideas please or advice would be appreciated.

I think Daisy's shop now counts as a ToM item. There's now a new camera feature to turn it off. If you look at the blue box in camera mode, the top right corner there's a switch. Click it if you have ToM items around your valley. Then you can submit your photo.

I had this happen where I had the touch of magic on camera turned to hidden, but even when daisy's shop is not in camera view if pointed in direction of daisy still gave me this message, might try moving daisy's shop to a different area until you get your snap if that's the case.

Yeah, I just had the same thing. Even with ToM turned "off", having Daisy's shop two zones away in the background, still registered as "can't submit". Moving Daisy's shop out of view let it work.

I had the same issue awhile back on Dazzle Beach. It turned out it was either Moana's or Stitches home! Moved it temporariiy and it worked out fine, but not understanding why either one of those would be considered ToM?

Yup I checked it and had the same problem. Pretty sure it's Daisy's shop causing the issue because I don't use any ToM items in my valley. However, when I changed my position, I was able to submit the photo.
Guess this is a new glitch to add onto the list.

Likely they tried fixing this problem not knowing it was the problem by adding a toggle :D least we have a cool toggle now for when we add ToM stuff to valley.

Good to know some villager homes behave like dasiy's boutique regarding dreamsnaps and ToM. I usually don't use the homes in my snaps and usually aim camera away, but have seen lots of reports of this happening before the boutique was added. The boutique thing might be new because when we did the parks sweet treats snap I had dasiy's boutique in the snap as a side building but it was turned around, I just wanted presence of a building but did not want the windows unless direction building is facing has something to do with it registering as ToM?

Thanks so much everyone for your replies. Glad it's not just me. Turned out, it was daisy's store, which I had in sunlit plateau as part of my magic kingdom park, moved it to the forgotten lands, and managed to take the photo. How frustrating, but glad I got it. Thanks again everyone :)

I just found out if you are wearing any custom clothes, your image can't be submitted.

Yes, "Touch of Magic" items are the custom clothes & furniture.

(and they're restricted because someone would find a way to make something objectionable with the system. Rude stuff, crypto ads, etc.)
