Internet connection issues

The whole time I’ve had this game, it says I can’t connect to the internet. When I very first got it over a year ago it connected at first but now it keeps saying I have no internet. Has anyone found a fix for this as there seems to be a lot more online activities now like Daisys boutique and I’d also like to see other peoples boutiques.
I’ve tried restarting the router, connecting on wifi, connecting on Ethernet, deleting the game and reinstalling, starting the whole game over (😭 which meant I lost my custom made character), made sure it’s not my firewall and tried connecting through my phone.
I’m so annoyed at this point.
Has anyone had the same problem and fixed it somehow? It’s so annoying the pay for a game and you can’t even access a portion of it.

this started happening to me today, not sure what the heck is going on, it's definitely not my internet so i'm very confused.

this has been happening for over a year for me. They state that they are working on fixing it, but when you get in contact with the development help they tell you to use your mobile hotspot. However, this seems to only be an issue for those on PC platform. Its super annoying and irritating that this has never been fixed. Especially like you said purchasing the game and cant use a large portion of content because it wont connect. This issue also affects some quest lines as well.

I am finding the same issue. Initially when I first purchased the game through the founders pack my game connected and stayed connected. Now I have to keep re-connecting every 5 minutes or so (especially when there is an event) to complete tasks, purchase from the store or cloud save. It is so frustrating and it is a real deterrent from playing.

I have tried using my mobile hotspot, resetting Steam, changing from wifi to Ethernet nothing seems to help it.
