I also feel like the materials needed to craft paths require too many materials for only 1 path square.
What would make decorating terrain funner would to allow us unlimited default textures used in all bioms and allow us to place the default terrain up to edges as default textures show.
I'm leaving the texturing as is and not pathing eternity isle because it makes me sad. What would make me very happy if we had air brush with unlimited resources to terrain paint and then maybe pathing would be less sad. Pleeease I think the air brushing that was done is pretty but not all players have the same taste or vision for their valleys. It's not a deal breaker for future DLC purchases but please when designing bioms please make sure paths can go up to edges at the very least.
My friend is better at working around obstacles but she should not have to come up with solutions to problems that should not exist.
Have a developer craft 1000s of gold paths and then have them craft 1000 more gold path with border and then have them craft 1000 more with a gold path with border with a pink gems and then 1000 more gold w pink gem and border... It's cruel and unusual punishment that leads to player burnout.
That's about the last energy i'm going to give this topic.
After doing some research appears they made it where certain path styles while crafting yields more paths per craft. Wish didn't have to go to wiki to be educated on that but that's cool https://dreamlightvalleywiki.com/Crafting
