Slight Complaint About Terrain Texture and Pathing In DLC Ancient's Landing
It's difficult to place coherent pathing in Eternity Isle Ancient's Landing area because, the default ground texture is multi textured grass and ancient stones.

When placing the closest path to it, which is the Ancient Road it does not match up with the default stone texture.

It would not be so bothersome if when rock spawns or anything else that can currently spawn on paths do not raise the default terrain over the placed paths.

Also, when placing the Stone Slab paths and then a rock spot spawns over it reveals the default grass texture below placed paths.

I've seen complaints about the grass/sand default texture near the beach.

It looks like the devs were able to use multi texture terrain paint up to edges while players can not.

Please allow us access to all the default terrain textures for all bioms and allow us to use them up to the edges.

Recommends more care in the terrain painting pathing department please.

Here is a place where pathing goes up against some places and not other places of similar design. This type of issue takes the fun out of decorating. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3214675769

I also feel like the materials needed to craft paths require too many materials for only 1 path square.

What would make decorating terrain funner would to allow us unlimited default textures used in all bioms and allow us to place the default terrain up to edges as default textures show.

Please consider changing the terrain colors in the wild tangle from sand and grass to only grass textures. Use the plaza texture for one area and meadow texture for other areas, please keep them consistent. For ancients landing either stone texture or the dark grass. not both. Looks like the texture layers were air brushed on and they are not at all pleasing.

I'm leaving the texturing as is and not pathing eternity isle because it makes me sad. What would make me very happy if we had air brush with unlimited resources to terrain paint and then maybe pathing would be less sad. Pleeease I think the air brushing that was done is pretty but not all players have the same taste or vision for their valleys. It's not a deal breaker for future DLC purchases but please when designing bioms please make sure paths can go up to edges at the very least.

Here's another example on how pathing was not factored in during the design of this area in Ancients Landing. There are gaps around the fountain and there are gaps by walls steps and buildings. If the only solution is to allow us to use the terrain painter please allow this feature to us players, it would improve our quality of game play and designs. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3214695454

My friend is better at working around obstacles but she should not have to come up with solutions to problems that should not exist.

And lastly so many players have been upset because they craft pathing only to have new pathing get released and they spent all that time harvesting countless difficult to obtain materials to go in inventory limbo forever without option to convert pathing back to original materials.

Have a developer craft 1000s of gold paths and then have them craft 1000 more gold path with border and then have them craft 1000 more with a gold path with border with a pink gems and then 1000 more gold w pink gem and border... It's cruel and unusual punishment that leads to player burnout.

That's about the last energy i'm going to give this topic.

After doing some research appears they made it where certain path styles while crafting yields more paths per craft. Wish didn't have to go to wiki to be educated on that but that's cool https://dreamlightvalleywiki.com/Crafting
