Sands in the Hourglass DLC Glitch?

So I've gotten to the point where I'm supposed to find 2 Ancient Statue fragments on the secluded beach but I can't find the second one. I got the one next to the crafting table but the one that's supposed to be in the tree next to the bigger statue won't even give me a prompt for it. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way around it/to fix it?

Hmm. I did that quest and only found the one by the table.
After that I just interacted with the statue and it worked.
I guess the quest picked up the second fragment automatically when I interacted with the statue.

I can't pick up the second ancient statue fragment.
It got stuck next to a tree root.

That's where I'm at too. I tried the whole area around the tree where it lit up the hourglass yellow and nothing...

Update: I ended up just randomly using the hourglass around that area and found it in front of the tree but not on the tree.

Yes! I ended up using the hourglass a few steps back from the tree and it worked. You may have to search around for it a bit cuz it took me a few tries to actually get it to work. I hope that helps and I hope you get it!
