What is the respawn time for mushrooms and the max number of spawns?

The Star Path task to collect 50 is literally taking all day... <.<

Can't you just water some. My valley is always full of them. Does the buddy count for the task, should give you an extra one per location if it's allowed for the quest.

Already used up all the ones that you use the Royal Watering Can on. You only get a couple of mushrooms each and so far none of those have respawned.
I've been at it for hours and I'm only more than halfway because a couple of times I got a lucky bonus "explosion" of an extra seven mushrooms and it seems that bonus counts toward the Star Path.

The critical and buddy used to never count for the quests. That's something at least.
The big mushrooms are like the thorns and grow back daily. Don't panic about not finishing though, if you power through the path it will be done in under a week or two. You get a couple of months.
When you hit a flower quest you can just chuck some from storage on the ground and pick them up again to save some time wandering around during the starpath.

Ah I think I was mistaken about the crits. I noticed I have more than 50 mushrooms in inventory collected since the task started but I haven't finished the task, so... maybe not <.<
The other 5 tasks are all gifts or discussions waiting for tomorrow so it feels like everything's on hold -_-;
