How do you cook with meat ingredients?

With the rift in time DLC you get 3 proteins pork, poultry and venison but where are they in the ingredient list to cook the new recipes? I was able to find it ONCE in the quest items to make a single recipe for Gaston. I made four of the same to complete the quest but.... ugg!

I can't confirm, but this is what I think : in the desert biome, I spoted a broken stall with Gaston's face on it, like the one Goofy and Kirtoff have. I think you need to advance Gaston's quests to unlock it and then you will probably be able to buy the meat from there. I'm not there yet myself so it's just a guess.

So that stall SELLS meat, you unlock it doing Gaston's quests but after you do and purchase meat you cant cook with it except for one time for a quest and you can only find it at the bottom of the quest ingredient section. How did they miss something this big... there are also weird ingredient placements from Rift in Time like scorpions and sand worms are in produce O.o

I think it's bugged; something clashed with the update or a piece of code got left out. Scorpions and Sand Worms appear with the Dairy stuff for some reason (then again so do peanuts and lentils also for some unknown reason). Produce is fruits and veggies.

It looks like a glitch. There's no meat category. I went into everything/all (infinity symbol at top) and you can get to the meats there by scrolling through.

The infinity-symbol section is "all" ingredients. Meat is all the way at the end.

Of course, now I have to figure out some recipes. Generic meat+herbs, meat+potato, meat+veggie+herbs, all end up being 1* Roast. (meat pie is meat+butter+wheat)

Grr. Pork+wheat+cheese+tomato+oregano didn't end up being something Italian. Still just Roast.
