New Tool Upgrades with the Timebending table

I love the expansion so far, but I HATE the fact that the game doesn't tell you a description of items, upgrades, etc.
I don't know what the point of the small and Large Rubble Shovel upgrades let you do, they were the first ones I got, but I have found NOTHING new to use it for.
And the Watering can, the fact that it needs jungle wood, a resource that, at the moment IS NOT RESPAWNING so I'm locked away from that quest. Speaking of, any solution to that? And if anyone knows what the shovel does, please tell me it's driving me up the wall.

I also just want small descriptions when it comes to normal crafting too! I had to craft a 'training manual' to figure out what exactly it did. I was hoping it gave you an extra chance at triggering one of those harvesting events where a bunch of red glowing items need to be picked up, or something like that, but it just changes an alreadly lv 10 companion to a different role. WISH IT TOLD ME. That one's just a petty complaint because I could have just looked those up, but I shouldn't have to go to an external source to find out what certain items in game do to avoid wasting my resources.

"Rubble" is those grey piles of ancient rocks with symbols carved in them. There's big and small ones. They're everywhere, starting in the original landing area. Go into furniture editing, and look for the random rocks in the middle of everything, that you *can't* select and remove.

And yeah, they know that the jungle wood isn't respawning. As a temporary fix, they sent everyone a pile of them (plus some cinnamon, and 1500 moonstones) in the mail, while they work on it.
