What games are you playing that a DLC, not the base game, cost $60. Cause that's not the same games the majority of people play.
This should be $15 at the MOST. Especially since they have a cash shop they try to shove down your throat every 5 minutes.
Most games now are on a subscription model, i.e. updates of a substantial nature cost.
The days of buy a physical copy and be done seem to be long long gone. I preferred that also.
"Free" to play games often wind up costing way more than those old all in one physical disc games. That is just how it is I guess. It's very rare to find any that are one and done.
But on the other side of that: Without funding they can't keep making new content.
I think you'll have a rude awakening once you realize that they've increased prices from $60 to $80 for base games, with modern expansions being between $40 and $60. Diablo 4's expansion will be $100, for example. I don't like it either, especially since the common reason behind it seems to be "the prices have been the same for decades and devs need to get paid!", eventhough devs haven't gotten a pay raise either. But this is a new normal and prices are going to keep rising.
I think $30 is fine, since it offers a huge amount of content + you literally get an additional $20 in value for the cash shop. So technically you'd be getting the expansion at $10 + $20 in cash shop value, since you seem to care about the cash shop for some weird reason. If you compare it to the base game, you absolutely do get content that is proportional to the price tag of the expansion.
I have to second that. What games are you playing with $60 DLC? Train Simulator or something where you are buying entire trains for dumb prices?
I will wait... for all I know they may abandon the game before we ever see the final update for the DLC,
other games that charge you alot.
majority of players dont play a farm sim game or a cozy game, the market for those are small, most play fps or survival games like rush and those....
maybe read up on the market and learn it from outside a farm sim game, then youll know this game is nice and good compared to others.
25gbp is dam good value for the expansion and people who say its not dont know the market they are in
cs2 one of the biggest games on the planet
cyberpunk and destiny dam good games
well to be fair most games today charge prices that are not bad for the value however some are crap i know that
Prob a Dev because they don't play video games
