Multiplayer?

Hi! I'm considering buying this game, but I'm wondering about the multiplayer part. I gather you can visit other players' valleys, but is there anything there you can actually do together? Or is it just looking around, seeing how they've decorated the place, and that's it?

playing right now, can't really do anything apart from drop items for friends, can't speak to villagers, can't use tools, can't go into a house or store unless the host does first, can't do anything basically, very disappointing.

There isn't even anything to do in your own valley, let alone other valleys.

What? If you're a new player there is ton you can do in your own valley, i have this game since it first came out with EA and still have some open villager quests. I guess it depends on whether you liek farming sim and walking around, cleaning up your bioms and stuff

I Think the only thing it's nice to have for is to go into the shop of a friend and basically have double the shop inventory you'd usally have in day.

well okay... but thats the case for every game. And they do updates every 3months or so. obviously you're gonna be done quicker if you play more, but after 130h in the base game I personally still enjoyed the game.
