How to fix the crashes

My game kept crashing but a couple days ago when I bought the game it was fine but two days later it now crashes I have checked my laptop for updates, I have enough storage but nothing seemed to work I might be thinking about uninstalling steam or the app to see if that works but I am afraid that it'll mess up any advice?

not really an advice but it can be the game itself. sometimes there are problems which need to be fixed. it seems they are not really finished with the game. maybe it works after the next update.

The game constantly crashes ond freezes for many players. Every patch and update makes it worse. So no it is not your laptop and since the issues exist since day 1 and were never fixed chances are low for a fix in near future

And then for the rest of us, we've been playing for months and months without any crashes. (I've actually never had a crash. Three freezes, a year ago, but that's it.)

OP, have you tried verifying the integrity of the game's files?

To do so, right-click on the game's title in your library, then choose Properties. Under 'Local Files', I believe, you'll find an option to verify the game's files. Sometimes something gets corrupted and needs to be replaced/re-downloaded. It may not solve your problem, but it's easy enough to do as a first course of action with any game on Steam.
