Flowers not respawning on the Isle

So I need green fly traps to complete a quest, it's been 2 weeks and not a single flower respawned on The Promenade and The Grasslands. Not only the green fly traps, but also other flowers. There's none and I'm stuck with the quest. It this a known problem?

EDIT: It happens cause my game stopped auto-synching. No idea what to do with it.

I had the same issue, I removed some decoration and also collected everything that I could and a few hours later they started to spawn again.
If it it a bug, which often can happen with time travel or in general then all you can do is join their discord and see if someone found another fix or submit a ticket, tho most people never get an answer

Do you have access to all the areas of the jungle? If not, the flowers might have respawned in the other sub-zones. Maybe.

(kind of like how, in the original base game, you'd end up with all the flowers on the other side of a blocked-off river in a biome.)

I didn't have any decorations on the Isle, I never time travelled to speed up the game, I've also unlocked all the areas. None of these was the cause of the problem, and I think I've figured out what's happening.

My game is out of synch. I only noticed it when I went to check the settings, the error doesn't show up on steam, just in the game. When I first checked it had been out of synch for 14 days. I manually updated it, played some time and the flowers started spawning again (not a lot of them, but enough to let me finish the quest). I logged in the next day and it was out of synch again, and it's been like that all the time since then. I have to manually update it each time, it just stopped auto-synching for some reason (?).
