Meat section in ingredients?

Is the only way to access meat by going to the view all ingredients option and scrolling to the bottom?? It takes forever. Why isnt there a meat category or put them in with something else?

I think so... I wondered the same thing. But it may be something they add in the future. (I hope.) Also feels weird that the scorpion and sand worm are treated as "milk products".

Ohh this, absolutely this. Meat/poultry needs its own section, and please get the scorpion and sand worm out of that category.

To the extent I am starting to feel naggy... once again...the whole UI needs some significant improvement. One reason I no longer am playing the game other than the bare minimums for the dreamsnaps and blue chests. Not opting in for the DLC since I went through that "hurry up and wait for the next release" nonsense last year.

Never seen a worse UI system for a game with such large inventories of crap. Makes you not want to play.

Simply put they added meat to the game but didn't bother to give it its own category among the ingredients. It's a huge oversight. Don't know how that update got green lit.

So yeah, for now, if you don't have a specific recipe that has meat, you're screwed.

I am glad to see I am not the only one with these feelings. I enjoy the game a lot. I am a newer first time mom so I don't have a lot of time to game, but hubs got me a steamdeck and I play it on that. Really easy and nice for my current life style. But like, I don't want to waste time grinding constantly and this latest update just seems to have a lot of tasks that don't NEED to take so much time. It all adds up. I feel silly complaining about it haha but it just does all add up.
