Red and White Capybara

So I waited all week for it to be available, which it is supposed to be, 12 noon to 6 PM in the Lagoon in the new area.

And I closed game and went back in a few times and still nothing. Where is it?

I looked not only all around the Lagoon each time but the surrounding lands as well.

The ochre color one and the blue one are roaming around but I have those. I see those all the time...the others are more rare.

I just need to take a photo with Mirabel and this one last capybara. Where is it?! Thanks.

I can't even get her to take a picture with any of them, do you have any tips?

I push her into the frame and then hit T and V (edit: after hitting 6 key to grab the camera) to make the picture as wide as possible.

You can also right click the mouse to move the camera around, I think.

Then just move the camera until you see the capybara, and have Mirabel anywhere in the frame, too.

Tried again today. No glimpse anywhere. Mirabel still waiting.

I finally found the red striped capybara yesterday, by chance... and completely forgot I was searching for it to complete the quest with Mirabel! Oh no. I just fed it instead. T.T

Oh no!

At least it's not hungry still. Now maybe it might come up to you on its own next time.

I went there at the right time frame. I always check Collection / Critters first.

It's Saturdays from noon to 6 PM on the 12 hour clock.

I looked everywhere green. I was also throughout he desert areas, for other reasons. No red and white critter.

Others have the same bug, but with different capybara.

I couldn't find one of the monkeys yesterday either. It seemed like a different monkey was there, instead. And then, I also have the corner-teleport bug. The monkeys vanish into corners of walls.
