Glimmer?

Does anyone know what the heck "glimmer" is for?? I keep getting prompted to acquire it for a task, but it hasn't come up in any story line at all so I don't know what it's for

use your time staff in any realm - like toystory or wall-ee usually can find a few glimmers
I go to all my realms each day and get about 10 per day

They are used to build furniture from scraps and fragments you find elsewhere with your time staff (use the new time crafting table)

Oh I didn't do this myself till my staff was level 2 (I read somewhere that your staff has to be level 2 but I didn't even try at 1 so uncertain)

Yeah, they're used for the special "Fragment" furnishings at the Timebending table. And only found in the story realms.
