is this quest bugged? I bought the table from scrooge,the date night exterior table. right after i logged off, when i logged back on the table was no where to be found! I cant finish this quest and move on to next one

Not sure this will help, but if it is a specific quest item, they are kept in their own special location in furniture. I vaguely remember that one was more like a set of several items you just have to place as a single grouping.
