Beast Quest Be Our Friend Bug?

So, a few days ago, I got this quest for Beast to try to be friends with Wall-e or Mirabel. It asked me which one, so I chose Wall-e. I then asked me to show Beast how to plant and harvest crops. Before I could do that, however, I had to go and do something so I saved the game and logged off, thinking I would do his quest chain later. Since then, every time I log on now all it says for the quest is to 'Hang out with Beast to make sure a catastrophe doesn't develop' and I can't progress. He follows me everywhere now, I have tried to take him to Wall-e, but he won't interact with him and Wall-e doesn't have anything for me to do. I tried talking to Mirabel, same thing, nothing to do. I've planted crops, like what I was supposed to do before I exited the game, and nothing. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this or can give any advice what to do, because I have tried everything that I can think of. Thank you.

Read the quest carefully. As I remember it, I had to go plant and harvest specific crops before the quest moved to the next step. Like a lot of DDV quests, they start off sounding like the NPC is going to need to do something- but usually you need to do it. They end up just taking the credit.

Do you remember what specific crops you had to plant? Also, I read the quest and it's not telling me anything besides to hang out with Beast to make sure nothing bad happens. Before I had gotten off before it was telling me to plant 10 crops and then to harvest them, but like I said, I had to get off. Ever since I've came back to the game though it won't tell me anything about planting any crops.

I am having this issue as well, the game is not giving me an option to advance it is stuck at "Hang out with Beast to make sure a Catastrophe doesn't develop." I chose Mirabel did the vials and fiber, she does not get the quest badge above her so cannot/ will not take the items. There is no option to go back and choose Wall*e, I did try to plant the 10 diff crops and again no badge, I was hanging out with each wall*e and Mirabel while doing the task. I am just wondering if this is a known issue.
