Blue Chests- one or more(two?) per day

I have picked up two or more blue chests in a day. Usually, I had missed playing the day(s) before so assumed it was just a spawn that remained from the prior day(s).

Yesterday, I pickup up a blue chest in the early morning. About 10 pm, I logged in and got another blue chest. Have not missed a day so I know it was not a spawn remaining.

It may be the spawn is based on hours since last pick up and I just happened to find the 2nd one right after it spawned.

Anyone got any real information on these blue chests and how they spawn?

I did a test, I had logged in multiple days but only bought everything in the store and stopped playing. Then I looked for the blue chest(s), I found 1, then ran around searching again and found the 2nd one in a place I had already checked. I did this a 3rd time, and again it was a place I had already checked.

So I'd presume either the chest gets sort of in a queue either by how many days or how many times you login, but only one can display at a time. I found 3 chests right in a row , it just took searching. My guess is it is days you login but don't bother to find the chests?

Who can say for sure ? My evidence is anecdotal, I don't think it really matters much. It is fun to know I can collect them one after another though, I stopped at 3, maybe more were queued, I have no idea . This thread stuck in my brain when I last read it so I had to experiment!

You don't even have to log in, you just get a buffer of up to 3. Didn't even notice that you could only spawn 1 at a time though, searching with furniture mode is a lot faster than running around with a gold energy bar.
