Moana Boat Bug

I had her boat fully upgraded (catch 20 fish max) since last October. Yesterday I noticed that Scrooge's upgrade sign was back and I thought ok maybe they are allowing even more upgrades.
I paid the 60,000$ (I have millions so not a big problem for me) and all it did was return the boat to 20 - which it already was...
Then upgrade sign is gone now - but guessing this was a bug somehow introduced with the new event?

Scrooge also mentionned that Moana will catch RARER fish... I assume 20 is the biggest storage but that now we may get gold spot fishes!

I think everyone got that as far as I know, maybe it is meant to do something but that was glitched? maybe the devs will clear it up later? Maybe it was to let her be able to catch the new fish? who knows

ok rarer makes sense because she only never caught kingfish and fugu before for me. I've not seen her get the new here-there fish yet either

Not an Issue - A new upgrade (60,000 Star Coins) was added to Moana's boat that unlocks a range of new fish to catch, including fugu and tilapia.

Yeah I saw this on their trello and kind of laughed. It does say in the description window that pops up in game that this 60k is to give Moana the ability to catch rare and unique fish in the game, but I personally have not seen a real difference outside of seeing sturgeon and tilapia more frequently. I have yet to see a fugu since upgrading and only a lobster once or twice; have yet to see a HoT fish since completing the appropriate quest. While I have plenty of money in the game, I kind of feel ripped off and want my 60k back.

How to upgrade if option: Upgrade wont show, i have move milimetr by milimetr left, right about hour to option show. But dont want spend hours for each upgrades.
