Cloud Save Problems With Steam Deck

i'm having a huge problem here

my PC save is up to date the cloud save and local save are the same and uploaded

but when i try to play on my steam deck it will not update at all. im logged into my cloud account on the deck. when i open the game it even asks which save i want to continue with. Except BOTH options it gives are OLD. it says keep local or cloud, yet both options are very old saves. what is the deal here??? anyone know what i can do
