Why are they making us craft things we don't need for the Star Path

Making us craft a Fountain and Balloon Arch for points in unforgivable!! I had it with this game! I almost quit last time due to the Balloon Arch but I though that I like Simba enough to see it through.

The time gating and this requirements in the Star Path is aweful! Anyone else feel the same?

I don't need to mine Shiny Garnets or fish lots of Shrimp, either. Very few of the path tasks are things I "need".

(and yes - there's time gating in a f2p/live-service style game. This star path is supposed to give you something to do for the next 40 days, along with the new quests. If we can blast through it all in a couple days, all that's left is posting "updates are too slow")

No thanks, I have not placed her house on purpose cause I don't want her in my village, so this duty is annoying af for me.

The other ones would be fine if we could sell the items we craft.

I understand the fishing and the mining but the crafting, can't they make us craft something more simple but not needing rare flowers that don't spawn that much. That's the part that I am not ok with.

People were complaining that there wasn't enough variety in the star path duties, so they added crafting duties.

It's not like there are a lot of different activities you can perform in this game, so crafting was the only thing they could add to increase variety. I think that's it, too. Every activity you can perform is now a star path duty (except walking).

They made us do arches in at least the last 2 events so I decided to make a large chest of flowers - I keep a stack of 50 of every flower and sell the rest the rare ones take a while but if you collect all the flower in each area everyday for a week or two you will have tons for event. I'm restocking them and also this is helping cause now we have the color chests! So I have lots of flowers for that too :)

I just haven't placed mine yet, I refuse lol xD Wish I knew how annoying Maui was before placing his house in the beginning.

yeah i luckily had a place to place mine. Moved Eric's massive castle thing to the beach and placed her house where his was

I don't place them but the items needed for those balloons includes like 20 of the rare flowers and for someone who doesn't log in everyday to gather the flowers it is a challenge and makes me frustrated. The other materials are easily obtainable through mild grinding but not flowers!

I have to ask has no one moved around the original layout? there is tons of room, it is the item limit causing issues. I have minnie, mickey, remy, the restraunt, scrooge's shop, and tons of room in plaza. I could fit maribels house there but have it else where

in meadow Eric, maribel, merlin, wally's garden, woody and I could actually fit every house there with the room if i wanted

wally's house is in the glade, as well as both mermaids

beach has stitch, moana, and maui or however it is spelled, could fit all the rides there easy,

sunlit has the lions haven't moved much around there yet,

forgotten has my pumpkins,

forest has buzz not sure what i want to do there

frosted heights has the frozen gang

I know right? Having to get 20 black rare flowers in one sitting just won't happen. It takes hours for flowers to appear again. Which means that you have to play for days just to get enough to make the balloon arch to complete the event.

I find it cruel to make the player do that, and from my memory, we had to make the same black, yellow, and white balloon arch in the last event too! What I also find cruel, is giving villagers food and not getting the benefits of that food. Like, it's just a waste of resources and time spent gathering those and making the food.

I feel a little bit of relief that I won't be playing the game anymore after I make this dumb balloon that I will never place in the village.

Other than gathering alot of materials for something you don't want or need (mainly flowers that have horrendous respawn rate and frustrating variation dependencies), unlike gathering basic materials...

But more importantly to me, have them listed in the clunky furniture menu... That doesn't show all items that are connected to the varying categories or plainly bugs out, instead of utilizing a basic search function for names...

I think sometimes it is so we don't burn through each quest too fast.

Those yellow flowers...took sooo long to accumulate. Lol
