Does anyone know what this is? Bug?

I was changing my character's appearance and was messing with the customization. After I finished, I walked out of Scrooge's store to find what appeared to be purple & pink stripes all over her body. I walked back out again and she looked normal after. Is this a bug?

Probably a graphics card issue (textures not loading correctly); I had a similar issue yesterday with my character having weird skin patches. I updated my drivers last night before going to bed and today, no issues with textures on my character.

I had an issue with my characters appearance while playing today too, I would teleport to a biome and be a different color like at first blue, then brown, black and then white with patches. It only seemed to happen when I teleported or entered or left a place. It was weird. I figured its a bug or glitch though.

This happened to me yesterday except my character's arms and legs were a lavender purple with black spots. It returned to normal when I exited the game.

my characters skin has changed liked 4 times just today all neck down. shes been purple,white and blue and red and now brown and white and one looked just like a plastic doll

Just an FYI for those that are experiencing this issue that Gameloft is aware of the issue and it is listed on their Trello: Avatar skin texture changes hue and pattern.[trello.com]

It mentions that their is a workaround of quitting the game and starting it backup. After initially not having any issues after updating the drivers for graphics card, the issue returned the next day and, in fact, was worse than it was initially after the patch. I found that turning down the graphics seemed to fix the issue as well if you don't want to keep resorting to quitting the game every time it pops up. I haven't had any problems after doing so.

Thank you for posting that, this issue just happened to me for the first time, and at first I was perplexed.

I've had success simply going into my house in the game and that fixing the issue. So might be worth giving that a try, too, before quitting the game each time.

yeah i have had all kinds of looks from those above to even looking like a walking constellation.
