Moana's New Fish Boat Upgrade?

Does anyone know what the new Moana fish boat update is for? it was 60k and not sure what the upgrade does?

You get level 11- but seriously not sure what more it does. I do seem to get more of the rare fish but it is hard to be sure if that is because of the update or just lucky RNG.

I am guessing future updates may include additional fish types (sort of like that here/there fish) and they are prepping to allow more types to be caught by Moana.

ty, my friend has not noticed anything special about it either when it comes to rares. Hmm

It adds nothing to the amount of fish or functionality. It adds rare fish like Fugu, Tilapia, and Kingfish to it. I've seen one Tilapia but no Fugu or Kingfish. A pretty steep price for basically giving rare fish less often than you can catch them.

ty, expensive fishing technology. Would be helpful if the updates for all these things gave details about what the upgrades do. Would make upgrading more special in my opinion.

Sitting on $18M right now so price is no object anymore. It probably looks a lot steeper if you are relatively new to the game and don't have a massive pumpkin farm operation.
