No internet connection issue
Is anyone else’s game not connecting to the internet? For a week now I get a message before getting to the title menu that says “No Internet. Cannot connect to the Internet. Check your network status and try again.” ang gives me the options to either continue offline or connect to the internet which doesn’t work. I know is not my connection since I play other games and go online with no issues. I deleted my network and reconnected it just in case but still the same. I can play offline with no issues and the game runs almost flawlessly on the Steam Deck. Any help is appreciated it.

If you've checked the usually suspects: internet connection, anti-virus software, firewall, etc., not sure what else to tell you. I have had this happen rarely and it usually fixes itself within seconds.

You really don't need an internet connection to play this game; only to use it's cloud save feature for cross platform playing.

The game won't let you collect 50 moonstones from blue chests though if it sees you as not connected to the internet.

Cross-play is exactly what I need it for. I go between my Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch and Xbox depending on the moment and for some weeks this has been the problem. Updated everything possible and still the same issue. I’ll end up messaging support to see if they know about it.

I have the same issue. I don't have connection problems. Since new update, i get the it before and after I log to the game. It disconnects me without me knowing it and all event progress getting lost cause of it. Also i hear sometimes 2 sometimes 3 kinds of music playing at the same time. It makes the game too tiring.

I restored to factory settings today (twice), formatted the memory card and change my wifi password but still have thr same issue. Support is unable to figure it out either.

Have you also checked if there isn't any firewall or antivirus software blocking the network connection for the game?

I asked this question in the official Discord channel a while ago, and the answer was truly absurd.

The game doesn't work with ethernet. Double-check that you are on WiFi. For whatever reason...

Whenever I have encountered the issue since it's been because I forgot to unplug the internet when I play.

even just on wifi it has connection issues, I only use wifi and have the issues.

I keep getting this issue and when I try to do the star duties it won't show them. You can play off line but can't complete the haunted duties. It's put me off playing to be honest. I enjoyed it upto this point. Never happened before.

That's so odd, because I play (on pc) with ethernet plugged in and do not have issues with connection. Have you tried resetting your ethernet port settings?

Well the servers apparently just went down at the time of this posting. If you're having issues at this time, wait until they're backup and check then.

REMINDER! If you play offline then when the servers come back up it will ask if you want to use the local save or the cloud save, USE THE LOCAL!

This has been happening to quit a few people since the patch according to their discord. apparently the only fix right now is to use VPN or try hotspot.

I been having this issue also. Hotspot works for me but you gotta use it everytime.

I also submitted tickets on this, the support is pretty useless. They say it's my computer... when it's not. Drivers updated, internet is stable. I even reset my router sets etc So yea support/devs for this game is pretty garbage.

Has anyone fixed this problem. it has been every time I try to play since late September. I only have a problem with this Game.
Ive had this problem for two weeks now. Ive tried everything to fix it. the only thing i havent tried is using a vpn. I contacted support and all they said was to try hotspot or use a wired connection instead of wireless. Also said the team is working on a fix for the issue but who knows when thatll be.
