The EGG Challenges (Village Tasks, Dreamlight) (SPOILERS)

I could not figure out the egg tasks. I saw someone else wonder about one of them.

I looked them up and it worked, so I thought I'd mention them here.

If you wanted to figure these out, stop reading here. If stuck, the below can help you.

1. WALL - E Loves Flowers: Hang out with WALL - E while you pick up 50 random flowers. You can pick up some and then drop and pick the same ones up repeatedly, if you are short on time, or don't want to roam around looking for more flowers. You can even drop them indoors and pick up the flowers til you pick them up 50 times. An empty room is ideal.

2. That's Not Where Eggs Come From - Plant and Harvest 100 eggs (farming.) This is the yellow egg. To get the seeds for yellow eggs, use the tool bench. Then plant and raise them as normal plants in your garden (farm.)

3. Spring Taste Test - You have to cook and eat 3 different egg dishes. The recipes are:

Spring Chocolate - Yellow Egg, Cocoa Bean, Sugar Cane.

Spring Egg Bowl - Yellow Egg, Blue Egg, Pink Egg, Cocoa Bean, Sugar Cane.

Spring Mimosa Eggs - Yellow Egg, Blue Egg, Pink Egg, Basil.

Then eat one of each dish.

4. Egg-Ceptional Decorating - Make any 4 egg items and put them down inside your house. They can be 4 the same or 4 different. You can remove them again afterward.

You get nice prizes. I will post images of the prizes I've gotten so far, below. I haven't completed the farming task yet.

A reminder about eggs: Yellow eggs are grown like plants in your garden/farm. Pink eggs are picked like fruit from shrubs. Blue eggs are randomly found sitting on the ground.

Another way to get eggs is when you complete a spring task with WALL - E, although I don't remember if it's for giving him a basket of flowers, or catching bunnies (which is only each Monday) or both. But WALL - E will give you some of each color eggs if you do that.

Thanks for posting this. This is helpful.
I was confused about this event when it was first released so I watched a youtube video on it and was able to complete it. I wish there was an explanation about this in game.

Yes it's not intuitive really. I thought, as someone else posted they assumed too, that the WALL - E flower baskets would fulfill the WALL - E Loves Flowers task. They don't.

The recipes aren't intuitive either. I tried guessing, and came out with random stuff.

I just completed a phase in the "That's Not Where Eggs Come From" task. The total is 100 eggs but every so often they give you a prize until then.

That's the prize for 30 farmed, yellow eggs.

Blue and white rabbit is cute and is now a pet outdoors. You can choose up to 4 pets to attach to the dog house / pet house, outdoors. I had the top hat bunny as one pet; I substituted the blue and white bunny. Looks more like spring.

I also had the white fox and blue fox and now I have a white bunny and blue bunny as the other two, so it's very visually symmetrical. Lol
