scrooges sign problem STILL!

I ran into this issue within the first hour of playing back in October 2022 and messaged them multiple times thinking they would fix it by now. I finished Scrooges grand reopening sign quest and he gave me the planters but a quest with goofy glitched and i had to force close. When I restarted it back tracked saying I placed 3/4 signs and the 4th sign has been gone since. I cant craft it and it doesnt show up in Scrooges inventory. Now its almost May and they email me that they are working on it but its never been on Trello. Has anyone found a way to fix this??? I can never upgrade my home or move on with quests with Merlin which also means quests with Buzz, Nala, Maui Mother Gothel ect. I bought the upgraded version of the game and put money in and have a massive collection of almost everything excluding memories so NO I dont want to restart Id rather delete and forget the game exist but the collector in me wont allow that.
I picked up all of scrooges signs and logged out of the game like they told me to in an email and replaced them in new places pointing towards his shop.
Also now the 15th space alien wont spawn in anyones house. Even after logging in and out of my account. Ive emailied them back about both of these issues.

The only thing I can think to ask is: Is it possible the sign is 'lost' somewhere in the valley on the land, behind something or ??

We all seem to be getting the 14/15 Alien doll bug.

If it is lost; its somewhere you cant reach.
Ive deleted everything and minimized my entire valley from anything unnecessary, moved the buildings just see if it was underneath them. Also scavenge the village every time I log on for collectables. When I pick up the three signs it says 0/4 placed. nobody has gotten back to me yet. I just dont get why they cant make it possible to craft more. It seems like the simplest fix.

I mean I completed that part and got the planters for the next step. after forcing close and coming back I was where I am now. Planters were removed from my inventory and 4th sign nowhere to be found.

The only tip I have heard for these sorts of situations is to gather up the signs you have, drop them on the ground, save and reload your game and make sure that quest is active.

Not sure if dropping them will work in this exact scenario, but some folks were having success on a few quests that got stuck.

This sounds like a bewildering bug and I have not seen it before. I really hope they will fix it for you in an update.

I have had bugs that just sat for weeks, but others had them also.

It sounds like it halfway reverted to a prior save. Maybe a corrupted file but I don't know? It's so sad, I'm so sorry.

Did a quick google of that quest and saw this. It may be important and why you can't craft the fourth sign.
"To craft the signs, you must use the Crafting Station in McDuck’s store, to the right of the vault."

Mr. Bufferlow could be onto something -- OP did you craft the signs at home or inside Scrooge's shop?

i crafted all 4 signs in scrooges shop. ive seen a lot of people say they can buy it from him but thats not an option for me and no i havent been able to craft another in his shop since.

a lot of people just restarted the game. I unfortunately thought it would work itself out and kept playing for hours and when it didn't resolve the following day i figured they would just fix it because a lot of the games reviews in the beginning were how glitchy it is.
Guess ill keep harassing them until they gift me a new one or suffer forever lol
